Travelling exhibitions

Two roll-up exhibitions travel free of charge to your educational institution

Option 1: Wanderfisch

The travelling exhibition "Wanderfisch" invites pupils to take a closer look at our waters on 11 large-format roll-ups (85x200cm). The sturgeon has a special role to play here. Through its example, children and young people learn why the journey of migratory fish is so challenging, what has led to many species being threatened today and how we can get involved in protecting our waters. The easy-to-understand text and appealing images are aimed at school children in grades 1-7.

Tip! Below is a poster version of the exhibition for you to print out.

Option 2: Loss of the Night

We cannot imagine life without light. We illuminate our surroundings to feel safe and comfortable. But constant lighting also has negative consequences: It disrupts ecosystems, affects our health and wastes valuable resources. Light pollution - too much artificial light in the wrong place at the wrong time - is increasing.

The IGB's travelling exhibition "Verlust der Nacht" sheds light on the subject in a comprehensive and informative way. On fifteen easy-to-assemble roll-ups (100×200cm), students and visitors learn how night-time lighting affects people and the environment, and discover possible solutions for environmentally friendly lighting.

The free exhibition is available for educational institutions to borrow and is ideal for schools, universities and public institutions wishing to raise awareness of the effects of light pollution. Simply send an email to aube@igb-berlin.de with your preferred dates. There is no charge to borrow the exhibition, only the cost of transporting the material to the next exhibition venue.
