Meet Urban Nature: Berlin blue-green

On 18 September, we dedicate ourselves to Berlin’s blue green infrastructure! What makes parks, gardens, shores, lakes and rivers so important for people and nature, and how can we use and protect them? Together with other experts from research, environmental education and nature conservation, we invite you to discuss and experiment, to go on city walks and to watch the film “Auf dem Trockenen” (On dry land), followed by a panel discussion on “Hitzesommer, Tropennächte und Starkregen – Wie rüsten sich Berlin und Brandenburg für die Zukunft?” (Very hot summers, tropical nights and heavy rain – How are Berlin and Brandenburg preparing for the future?). These are just some of the activities taking place outdoors between 14:00 and 21:00.
