TRANSPONDER

TRANSPONDER aims to improve our ability to assess biodiversity and ecosystem change in overlooked and valuable ecosystems by optimizing tools and developing protocols for biodiversity monitoring in pools and pond landscapes. This includes defining approaches for selecting sites for monitoring and evidence-based optimization, standardization and automation of monitoring procedures in a transnational context. Through ongoing collaboration with a range of stakeholders, TRANSPONDER also aims to create a network for the exchange of expertise and sharing of expectations, thereby increasing the impact of the project.
