2016 - Present PhD candidate at IGB. Topic: Periphyton top-down control and its impact on macrophyte development in eutrophic and oligo- to mesotrophic lakes.

2014 - 2015 Research assistant (field and lab assistant) (Aquatic ecology department, Netherlands Institute of Ecology NIOO-KNAW).

2011 - 2013 MSc in Restoration Ecology. Joint degree at Alcalá University, Complutense University of Madrid, Polytechnic University of Madrid and Rey Juan Carlos University (Spain). Thesis: Factors governing massive growth of rooted macrophytes in shallow lakes in The Netherlands (Netherlands Institute of Ecology NIOO-KNAW).
