Expertise
With a background in marine biology and freshwater ecosystem management, I started my PhD project in 2025 with a focus on stress ecology, specifically the physiological and morphological responses of aquatic plants to multiple stressors. As part of the DFG-funded PlantsCoChallenge project (https://www.plantscochallenge.de/), which explores plant species from both aquatic and terrestrial environments, my research combines controlled laboratory experiments, field studies, and exploratory surveys to assess plant responses in multistress conditions.
