Record attendance: 550 guests at the open day

Scientist Jens Nejstgaard explains the sea laboratory
Despite many competing events in the region, 550 visitors found their way to the IGB Stechlin on Saturday, 30 June. On this open day, the IGB scientists provided information about the institute's current research activities.

As in previous years, the boat trips to the lake laboratory were particularly popular. Children also had a chance to learn more about the lake and its creatures at the fishing game, the microscope stand and the handicraft competition. The positive feedback from many visitors shows that our content was once again convincing. The next open day will take place in June 2020.
