The Forschungsverbund Berlin e.V. has launched the Marthe Vogt Podcast. The 2nd episode hosts the aquatic microbial ecologist Mina Bizic: passionate scuba diver, dedicated scientist, and the mother of two little explorers. At IGB Mina studies the global carbon cycle with respect to methane formation, and carbon dioxide sequestration by phytoplankton blooms.
In the Marthe Vogt Podcast series, female doctoral students, postdocs and junior researchers of the Forschungsverbund Berlin share stories about their – often winding – journey to academia, their motivations, hardest challenges, biggest achievements, and their life beyond science.
