Exciting topics - this was the main reason for 15 girls to take part in Girls' Day at IGB on March 28th. The participants were curious to learn more about freshwater biodiversity - even about small organisms like Daphnia - and to get to know how to efficiently protect freshwaters. They were fascinated by the freshwater giants Arapaima and Atlantic sturgeon and the "tomatofish".  Every girl printed her own bag with a freshwater motif as a souvenir for this special day. IGB will also be on board for the Girls' Day in 2020!
