Oder Hive: An Interactive Performance About the Oder River Ecosystem

More than just a show, Oder Hive is an interactive experience that invites you to discover the world through the senses of the river's inhabitants. Based on scientific facts and research, singers, sound and video artists, researchers and historians show how the Oder functions as a habitat for diverse communities - humans and animals alike. This opens up unexpected perspectives on the interdependencies along the river.

In this extraordinary performance, the river and its creatures become an immediate part of one's own world of experience through music, sound, video and open discussions. A soundscape of environmental noises merges with live compositions by Polish artist Wojtek Blecharz and free improvisation - allowing the Oder to be heard, felt and experienced. Visual accents between documentation and poetry invite you to explore and reflect. What makes it special: The boundary between stage and auditorium is blurred. The audience decides whether it wants to be a spectator or part of the action.

The event is free of charge, no registration is required, and it is bilingual (German/English).
