Week of the Environment 2020 (postponed to 2021)

Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, together with the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU), invites to the sixth "Week of the Environment" in the park of Schloss Bellevue. Visitors can look forward to an diverse programme of discussions, interviews and expert forums as well as innovative projects by 190 exhibitors.

IGB is participating with an expert forum on "The unnoticed loss - biodiversity crisis in inland waters".

Contributors:

Dr. Sonja Jähnig/Speaker: Scientist at IGB, co-founder of the international "Alliance for Freshwater Life" and initiator of the research agenda "Living Water".

Prof. Dr. Florian Leese/Speaker: Head of Department "Aquatic Ecosystem Research" at the University of Duisburg-Essen, winner of the Water Resource Award 2018 of the Rüdiger Kurt Bode Foundation.

Dr. Laura von Vittorelli/Speaker: Head of "Water Policy" at the Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland e.V. 

Johannes Graupner/Moderation: Knowledge Transfer Officer at IGB.
