Marine ecological-economic systems under global change: responsibility for regime shifts and sustainability

Using both empirical and theoretical approaches it is studied how the commercial and recreational fisheries responds to the closure of the directed fishery for western Baltic cod, after crossing of an ecological tipping point. A key empirical question is the one on who stakeholders held responsible for past and future developments.
