GeoNode is our spatial data repository of IGB, and allows to upload spatial layers or point data and to create maps that can be browsed online. The layers and maps can be shared among colleagues or inserted in publications to add an interactive element in the data visualization. GeoNode is linked to the FRED database, which is part re3data, and thus provides the possibility to assign DOIs for the data.
