Founded in the UK in 2011, the events transform public areas into an arena for learning and scientific debate. The aim of Soapbox Science is to promote a higher visibility of women in science and a more balanced gender distribution in scientific research. The Berlin editions are co-organised and supported by several IGB scientists.
